Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 7:30 amβ6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Suwanee is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Suwanee is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

After learning to play golf here as a junior and returning as an adult, it pains me to write this review. I joined Laurel Springs in mid-December 2025 and was genuinely excited to become a member. When I met with Tom, I originally planned to join at the end of January. He encouraged me to join immediately, assuring me he would βtake care of meβ through the end of January. Looking back, that was the biggest mistake I made. Within 30 days of joining and paying my initiation fee, I learned the course would be closing for approximately six months to install new greens. This was never disclosed before I joined. Had I known, I would have waited until the course reopened before committing to a membership. When I raised my concerns, I was repeatedly assured that everything would be taken care of and that members would be well accommodated during the closure. Unfortunately, that never happened. Members were told we would have access to play at other clubs while Laurel Springs was closed. In reality, despite checking the app regularly, I was only able to secure two tee times over the course of four months. For someone paying for a private club membership, that simply isnβt acceptable. Laurel Springs Golf Club is an absolute gem, a true golfer's paradise that consistently exceeds expectations! From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and genuine hospitality. The course itself is a masterpiece, offering a truly unique experience as it transforms from the front nine to the back. The greens are simply immaculate, rolling true and fast, offering a satisfying challenge with every putt. And the fairways? Pure velvet. They're meticulously maintained, providing pristine lies that make every shot a joy. It's clear the grounds crew takes immense pride in their work, and it shows in every perfectly manicured blade of grass. What truly elevates Laurel Springs is the distinct character of its two halves. The front nine offers a fantastic warm-up, setting a delightful pace, but then the back nine truly takes your breath away. Visually, itβs a stunning masterpiece, with elevation changes and strategic bunkering that make it feel like an entirely different, more challenging course. Every hole on the back is a beautiful test of skill and strategy. Beyond the incredible course conditions, what truly sets Laurel Springs apart is its inclusive spirit.

This is a rare Jack Nicklaus designed course in GA. ALWAYS in great shape and playable. There's several risk/reward holes. Plenty of forced carries as well as penalty areas. The clubhouse is nicely stocked and if you have access (semi-private course),I'd suggest trying it out.

I played here today for the first time and had a great experience. Everyone was super friendly including the two members we played with - so helpful to tell us where to place the shots. There were lots of families out practicing (they have great practice facilities) and it seems like a great club. Iβve played 5 different courses in the last 7 days and this one by far is in the best shape. Even though they were CPO the fairways were green, nothing was muddy and the bunkers were in good shape. I did decide to walk and I donβt recommend it to the faint of heart. Lots of hills and about 20,000 steps. Whew...

I spent the day here with the IEC Golf Tournament. The staff took great care if our group. The food was good and we saw the cart gurl twice. Thank you for taking care of our group. If I could stay out of the woods I could score.
